Refunds & Cancellations
How Onna billing works, how to cancel, and when a refund applies.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Onna subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when we refund a payment. It sits alongside our Terms of Service — where the Terms and this page describe the same thing, they’re meant to agree.
Onna is operated by Athenalogics Solution Private Limited, with its office at 433, IVth Floor, Mansarovar Plaza, Madhyam Marg, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302020.
How our plans work
- The free plan is free, forever. You are never charged to use Onna’s free plan, and we never ask for a card to use it.
- The paid plan is for a whole household. You can choose a monthly or an annual billing period. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, so your family’s access never lapses by surprise.
- Where you subscribe decides who bills you. On the Onna website, subscriptions are billed through Razorpay (UPI Autopay or card). In the iPhone app they are bought through Apple’s App Store, and in the Android app through Google Play. Your payment details stay with that provider and are never stored by Onna. Before any charge, the plan and price are shown to you.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time. On the website, cancelling is deliberately simple — the same number of steps as subscribing, with no “are you sure” gauntlet and no offers you have to decline to leave. In the App Store and Google Play, the store’s own cancellation screens apply.
- Bought on the website: open Your plan on the Onna website and choose Cancel plan. You can also manage the payment mandate from your Razorpay confirmation.
- Bought in the iPhone app: cancel in your App Store subscriptions (Settings, your name, Subscriptions), or from Your plan in the app, which opens the same place. Only Apple can cancel an App Store subscription; we cannot do it for you.
- Bought in the Android app: cancel in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions), or from Your plan in the app, which opens the same place.
- Prefer email? Write to support@joinonna.com from the address you use to sign in and we’ll cancel a website subscription for you.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for — you keep every paid feature until then, and you’re simply not charged again. After that, your household moves back to the free plan. Cancelling a plan does not delete your account or content; free-plan limits and feature availability still apply. Available feature exports are free, but Onna does not promise one complete account or circle export.
When we refund a payment
Because you can cancel any time and keep access through a period you’ve already paid for, we don’t usually refund a period that’s underway — cancelling stops the next charge rather than clawing back the current one. But we’d always rather be fair than technical, so we refund promptly in cases like these:
- A billing error or duplicate charge — for example, you were charged twice, or charged after you had already cancelled.
- A charge you didn’t expect — an accidental renewal you tell us about promptly, where you hadn’t used the paid features in the new period.
- Service not delivered — you paid but a fault on our side meant the paid features weren’t actually available to you.
The cases above are for subscriptions bought on the website. For an App Store purchase, refunds are decided and paid by Apple: ask through Apple’s purchase support. For a Google Play purchase, refunds follow Google Play’s refund rules: ask through Google Play’s order support, or write to us and we’ll help. Tell us if you need help finding the right place; store rules and your rights under consumer law still apply.
Where a refund is due, we send it back to your original payment method through Razorpay, typically within 5–7 business days of approving it (your bank may take a little longer to show it). If you think a charge isn’t right, just contact us — we’ll look into it properly and won’t hide behind fine print.
Failed or involuntary payments
For a subscription bought on the website: if an automatic renewal fails — an expired card, a lapsed UPI mandate, a bank decline — we don’t cut your family off abruptly. Your paid features continue through a short grace period while we retry and let you update your payment method. Only if payment still can’t be collected does the household return to the free plan. That plan change does not itself delete your account or content; free-plan limits apply.
For an App Store or Google Play subscription, the store retries the payment and decides whether a grace period applies. Premium follows the store’s status, so it can end as soon as the store reports the subscription has lapsed.
Free trials
If we offer a free trial, we don’t take a payment method up front, so a trial can’t quietly turn into a charge. If you do nothing when the trial ends, your household simply continues on the free plan — there’s no bill to cancel.
Price changes
App Store and Google Play subscriptions follow the store’s own rules for price changes, including its notice and consent steps. For website subscriptions: if we ever change the price of a plan, we’ll give you reasonable notice before it affects you, so you can decide whether to continue before any new price is charged. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.
